CHORAL CONDUCTING
Peter is currently conductor of two large choral societies in Sheffield. The Sheffield University Singers' Society meets weekly during university term time and performs several concerts a year. Since taking the helm at "Singsoc" the choir has grown in number and performed several memorable concerts including Rossini's Petite Messe Solenelle.
Peter took over Hallam Choral Society in September 2004 and is working hard with them to raise their profile as a choral force to be reckoned with in Sheffield! Concerts have already included a highly successful performance of Mozart's Requiem and Vivaldi's Magnificat.
Peter is delighted to hear from choirs looking for guest conductors or people to run vocal workshops for their members. It is Peter's understanding of the voice that gives such good results in his choirs' performances.
